General, semi-private or private insurance coverage? With the hospital insurance PE, you are in proper hands no matter what.

The compulsory health insurance OKP only covers the legal minimum in the event of a stay in hospital, meaning the costs for the general department of a hopsital under contract. Hospital insurance will give you more options. With it, you can decide for yourself how much comfort the hospital room should have, as well as which physician you would like to care for you.

This offers the hospital insurance

• Freedom to choose the pysician of your choice (PE1 / private and PE2 / semi-private)
• Freedom to choose the contracted hospital
• Single rooms or two-bed rooms (excl. PE3 / general)
• Costs are accepted for a second opinion before an operation
• Flat-rate amount for outpatient births or giving birth at home
• Worldwide full coverage in the hospitals‘ private departments in the event of an accident (PE1 / private)
• Premiums will not increase if benefits are paid
• Especially for families: Children up to the age of 15 only pay premiums of CHF 2 per month (PE / general), for the third child, the premium is waived.
