What is myCONCORDIA-Access?
At CONCORDIA, we protect your data – and of course the same also goes for myCONCORDIA. To make access to your data even more secure, we use what is known as two-factor authentication. myCONCORDIA-Access is the security function we employ to protect your data. Logins and changes of access data can only be confirmed on a selected device using the device access data such as facial recognition, fingerprint or PIN.
Why do I need the myCONCORDIA app to log into myCONCORDIA?
Two-factor authentication requires a second factor in addition to the person logging into myCONCORDIA. This second factor is your mobile device, on which you have installed the myCONCORDIA app. Thanks to myCONCORDIA-Access, we can ensure that only the person who has the second factor – i.e. the mobile device saved on our system – can log in. This login procedure is more secure than the SMS code system that was formerly used, as one SMS code can be received by several devices.
